Phones are provided in inmate housing units if housekeeping standards are met. The Woodward County Jail does not forward messages from the public to detainees.

Fees
Housing unit telephones are “collect call” phones. An initial fee will be billed per call, to the phone number that accepts the facility’s collect call. Any additional charges will be computed at long distance rates. Phone cards are available for purchase by an inmate on site. Calling cards sold outside the facility cannot be used.


Time Limits
The telephones automatically shut off after 15 minutes.


Calls
All inmate telephones are recorded and will be accompanied by an announcement stating that the phone is originating from the Woodward County Jail and all calls may be monitored or recorded.
